Our PTO is awesome!

Over the extended weekend, one of our PTO dads, Jim Whitson, painted lines on our playground for kickball, basketball and four square.  The students are going to love it!  Thank you so much!

Kindergarten celebrates Earth Week!

Our kindergarteners have been celebrating Earth Week this week by dressing up each day.  Today the kindergarteners wore hats.  There is nothing cuter than a kindergartener in a hat!

Pioneer Day

It is Pioneer Day in the fourth grade.  Students dressed in pioneer garb, played games that the students designed and made, and ate snacks like pioneer children had (jerky).  Enjoy these scenes from the fourth grade!

Student Author

One of first grade students wrote a book called If You Had a Pet Dinosaur.  He came to the office and read his story to the secretaries and the principal.  We love student authors at this school!

Believe and Achieve Assembly

Our teachers planned our MAP spirit assembly around the theme Believe and Achieve.  First we welcomed the students, then we played the Safety Dance episode from Glee.  Then we did our own flash mob dance to the Safety Dance!  It was awesome!

Special Edition April Fool's Day!

Gotcha Mr. Williams!

Lunch with the Principal

Yesterday I had lunch with students who reached their goals in reading.  Students had to have at least 40 reading counts points with at least an 80% average.  If they met their goal, they got to have lunch with me!

Here are some fun photos from our lunch:

Mr. Williams was a lunch guest, too!
